This place is -- so very odd. Is it not?
I am certain I am not the only individual to think such a thing. What strange technology has brought me here? I am fascinated to learn. It will truly be interesting, and I intend to find the cause as quickly as possible.
This place . . . where is it? I have never been in such a location before, and I confess I am curious. Would anyone be willing to show me around? The gesture would be vastly appreciated. Or perhaps we might explore the town together? That would be very enjoyable, and they say there is safety in numbers.
I would even be willing to bake you a cake in thanks. I adore to bake. I don't have all the ingredients that I would have used at home, but I am still quite confident in my abilities. I have even memorized the recipe . . .

I have been told that I have been assigned a roommate named Veronica Mars. I have yet to meet this individual, but I have been informed of her name and her appearance. It sounds as if we have much in common. Similar hair and eye color, and even height! What a . . . coincidence.
